A bed sheet is a piece of cloth that is designed and used to cover a mattress. A bed sheet serves the purpose of keeping the mattress clean from dirt and provides a more comfortable feel to the sleeper than if he or she were to simply lay on top of the mattress with no sheet. Which is similar to bed in a bag sets many times. What the thread count determines is the comfort of the fabric. A good rule of thumb is that the higher the thread count number, the softer the sheets will be. How many of us at some time or another have slept on scratchy sheets or those that are so thin you can almost see through them. We spend a long time asleep during out lifetime so it’s really important to make our sleeping experience as pleasant as possible.

Bed sheets are available in two types: flat and fitted. A flat bed sheet is nothing more than a rectangular-shaped piece of linen. A fitted bed sheet features four corners with elastic bands around the edges and is used as a bottom sheet. A reason for using a fitted bottom sheet is to prevent it from slipping off of the mattress while the sleeper moves around on the bed. A unique method of folding and tucking while making up a bed is referred to as “hospital corners,” and this is typically employed when the bottom sheet is flat as opposed to fitted. Not to be confused with cotton waterbed sheets, which is quite common. There’s no rocket science involved in washing bed sheets but there is one important tip that you may want to consider so as to keep your bed linen in tip top condition. After the wash cycle is complete, run the sheets through an extra rinse cycle to remove any soap residue since this decreases their softness.

Cotton is by far the most popular material because it is snuggly in the winter and cool in the summer (although they have to be warmed up in the winter first). There’s just something about sinking into a bed with high quality cotton sheets. In addition to being comfortable, manufacturers tend to produce them in more styles and colors (than other sheet types) to keep up with the consumer demand. Just like extra long twin sheets usually. What about you? Are you a cotton person or silk? Do you want a frivolous thread count, or will 250 do? Think about your options carefully before you shop for bed sheets and then enjoy your choice.

Have you heard the term Fingerprint Jewellery?

You might have heard of, or you might know someone who has a piece of fingerprint jewellery. Basically fingerprint jewellery is the fingerprint of a treasured one your child, sister, brother, mum, dad, gran, husband, wife, girlfriend or just friend. Impressed into a piece of fine silver or gold.

This can take the form of a pendant or a braclet charm, cufflinks, in fact any piece of jewellery you can think of where a flat piece of silver/gold could be used. Even earrings for small fingerprints.

It is also not limited to fingerprints, childs drawings can also be used to make the impression.

How do you make fingerprint jewellery?

First you need something called precious metal clay – this is a substance that is 98% silver held together with an organic compound. You roll the clay out to the thickness you want your jewellery to be plus %15 to allow for shrinkage.

Get someone to put their fingerprint into the clay, then using a special cutter simply cut out the shape of the piece you require. Then leave it to dry for about 2 days. Or if you don’t have the time you can buy a de-humidifier.

Then the clay once dry can be engraved easily with a name or date etc. After that it needs to be fired either in a kiln or with a blow torch. All the organic compound burns off and you are left with silver.

It then just needs a polish and to be put onto a chain / bracelet. Easy a piece of fine silver / gold fingerprint jewellery

My personal trainer Dallas is the best! I never knew that there were so many ways to exercise. It’s gotten to the point that it’s a running joke. Every time I see her, which is three times a week, she has at least one or two exercises we’ve never done before. I honestly never know what to expect during our sessions. She’s so creative and keeps me guessing as to what we’ll attempt next. I find myself looking forward to our sessions together. It’s a great workout and a fun learning experience.

I work from home, but I still stay extremely busy. Being able to have my Dallas personal trainer come to me is definitely ideal for my situation. It’s not always easy for me to squeeze in time for the gym, so I appreciate this brilliant concept from Lady Trainers To Go. My personal trainer in Dallas and I train during the middle of the day, which is a perfect break from work. It also energizes me to finish up the day. My focus is stronger, which allows me to accomplish so much more than I would if I didn’t exercise. It’s also the best de-stressor I’ve ever found. After an hour of sweating it out with my trainer, I feel all the stress I had built up melt away. The funny thing is, I reached my goals long ago, but the training has helped improved my attitude towards work so much that I don’t think I’ll ever stop using Lady Trainers To Go!
